Today & logging what you ate.

The Today screen is your daily home for your family's meal plan, calorie and water tracking, and quick meal logging. AI-estimated calories and macros are advisory guides, not exact measurements.

Steps

Find your way around Today

  1. Open the Today screen to see today's date, your greeting, the FAMILY · TODAY calorie section, and HYDRATION.
  2. Look under TODAY'S PLAN to see your BREAKFAST, LUNCH, SNACK, and DINNER slots with dish names and calories.
  3. If you see Finish setting up your kitchen, tap Set up now to create your household first.
  4. If you see No plan for today yet, tap Make a plan.

Confirm a planned meal (one tap)

  1. From the one-tap confirm screen, read Did you eat this as planned?
  2. Tap Yes — log it to save it instantly, or Adjust to change details, or Skipped this meal. (Note: "Skipped this meal" is not yet active — it shows a placeholder and does not save, so just don't log that meal for now.)

Log a meal manually

  1. On Today, tap Log manually.
  2. Type the dish in DISH NAME, pick a SLOT, and set SERVINGS with the +/− buttons.
  3. Optionally open ADVANCED · OVERRIDE MACROS to enter kcal, protein, carbs, and fat (leave at 0 to auto-fill).
  4. Tap Save log.

Log by photo

  1. On Today, tap Log a meal photo, then Take a meal photo.
  2. Wait while the button shows Analysing….
  3. Review the ESTIMATED card — it shows the detected dish name, the kcal estimate, the Protein / Carbs / Fat macros, and a confidence line (Confidence {%} · portion estimated from the photo.). Treat these as approximate.
  4. Tap Add {kcal} kcal to my day.

Log by voice

  1. On Today, tap the microphone icon to open voice capture and record your meal.
  2. On the Log meal review screen, check the PARSED items and Total, then tap Log it to continue, or Edit to adjust the details.
  3. Both options open the manual log screen so you can refine the entry before saving.

Tips & troubleshooting

  • AI photo and voice estimates show a confidence level; treat calories and macros as approximate.
  • If a photo gives No food detected or Could not analyse that photo, retake it in better light.
  • Leave macro override fields at 0 in manual logging to let the recipe values fill in automatically.
  • Restaurant mode is a preview only: the search field and Log thali button are not yet active and the dishes shown are sample copy. For an estimate while eating out, use Log a meal photo instead.
  • The Skipped this meal option currently shows a placeholder and does not yet save.
  • Shopping list totals appear in your selected currency (INR, USD, AED, GBP, CAD, AUD, SGD).
